FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions we hear most often.

Still have questions?

Our team is ready to walk you through the programme, eligibility, fees, and anything else you need to feel confident about applying.

Who can apply to the Diploma?

The primary audience is young Africans aged 18–25 who have completed secondary school, and early-career professionals with up to two years of work experience. Motivated applicants up to age 30 are also considered. If you're not sure whether you qualify, reach out to hello@nichecx.com and our admissions team will advise you.

Is the programme fully online?

Phases 1 and 3 (the classroom and capstone phases) are 100% virtual, making the programme accessible across all 54 African nations. Phase 2 - the internship may be virtual, hybrid, or in-person depending on your host employer. NICXI provides supervision frameworks suited to all three modes.

How much time do I need each week?

During Phase 1 (the virtual classroom), expect to commit approximately 15–20 hours per week of structured learning. The programme is designed to be intensive and formation-focused; this is not a light course. If you're working part-time, we recommend discussing your situation with the admissions team before applying.

What happens after the Diploma?

Graduates enter the workforce work-ready and positioned on the NICXI professional ladder. After 2–3 years of post-diploma experience, the natural next credential is CCEM (Level 2), followed by CCEP (Level 3) and eventually CCEPR (Level 4) for those moving into CX consulting. The Diploma is the start of a career, not the end of a course.

When do applications close?

Applications for Cohort 1 close on 16th  November 2026. Cohort 1 begins January 2027. We strongly encourage applying early; places are limited and competitive. Late applications will not be considered for Cohort 1.
